The four year old class at the YMCA Early Learning Center decided that it would be fun to make stuffed animals! We've done lots of animal drawings but hadn't decided how to construct the actual stuffies. Sewing seemed the locigal way to make them, but we all asked ourselves, can this group of four year olds learn how to sew?
When you read you begin with A B C, when you sing you begin with Do Rei Me.
On Thursday, I made a burlap suqare for each member of the class. Each child got to choose their own shape, which we drew on with sharpie and then the sewing began!
